April 20, Fineko/abc.az. One of the problems with which the Baku residents have been facing for many years is the registration of ownership rights to illegally built houses.

ABC.AZ reports that member of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship, MP Vahid Ahmedov commented on this issue to the local press.

According to the MP, documents will not be issued for some houses.

"The issue of undocumented housing has been raised repeatedly, we touched on it at Milli Majlis, and the media regularly write about it. The head of state signed an order in this regard, gave instructions.

I was interested, a lot of work has been done in this area. There is information that houses located under power lines, built on a gas or oil pipeline, or next to them, most likely, documents will not be issued, and they will be demolished. The rest of the houses will be registered.

We have certain information about this. It seems to me that this issue will be resolved before the end of this year. The state bodies responsible for this are working in this direction in accordance with the instructions of the President. However, this process will take some time," he said.

The MP points out that a special commission is currently operating in the Baku City Executive Power in connection with houses without documents, and the State Service for Property Issues is also engaged in this.
