April 22, Fineko/abc.az. We’ve destroyed fascism. We saved the South Caucasus from fascism. But there are still manifestations of fascism. There are still some circles in Armenia and the world Armenians, Armenians living in foreign countries, trying to threaten us. But they should not forget the history of the Second Karabakh War.

ABC.AZ informs that President Ilham Aliyev made this statement during his speech at the V Congress of Azerbaijanis of the World in Shusha.

The head of state noted that a lot of work has been done in the field of army construction for a year and a half.

"Now some of these works have been presented to the public, and some, of course, cannot be presented. However, everyone should know that today the Azerbaijani Army can perform any task. And combat capability, national spirit, morale, ammunition, equipment, the creation of new combat-ready military formations. We’re doing all this because there are still manifestations of Armenian fascism. We must be ready and we’re ready to crush Armenian fascism at any moment if it raises its head again. Armenia knows this well, understands it well and should never forget it," the head of state stressed.
