Rate of overnight stays in Azerbaijan’s hotels grew by 45%

April 26, Fineko/abc.az. The number of overnight stays in hotels in Azerbaijan for Jan-Mar 2022 grew by 45.3% (versus Q1 of 2021) up to 435,300 stays.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that 48.5% of overnight stays were at hotels in Baku, 10.8%  in Gusar, 8.0% in Guba, 7.6% in Gabala, 6.1% in Shabran, 3.4% in Naftalan, 3.1% in Lankaran, 2.3% in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 1.2% in Shemakha, 1.1% in Mingachevir, and 7.9% in other cities and districts.

At that, the number of overnight stays of Azerbaijani citizens in hotels reached 263,300 (a rise of 6.9%) that makes up 60.5% of the total number of overnight stays.
