Staff reductions begin at Borjomi

May 5, Fineko/abc.az. Georgian company IDS Borjomi has reported about the beginning of massive layoffs.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Georgian media that the company dismissed 49 employees.

The company stated that it was trying to fix the problems in order to save jobs. At that, the company stressed that it was forced to make changes to contracts with employees.

Financial problems are indicated as the reason for the reduction of the company at the end of April.

685 people worked at the company's two packaging plants.
