Turkish citizens occupy 1st place among those coming to Azerbaijan

May 6, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency has published data on the foreigners who arrived in our country last month - 84,402 foreign citizens.

ABC.AZ reports that 26.9% of foreigners came from Turkey, 22.6% from Russia, 15.7% from Iran, 11.8% from Asia, 10% from Europe, 6.9% from Georgia, 4.3% from the Middle East and 1.7% from other regions.

Top 5 of countries with the largest number of foreign citizens that visited Azerbaijan included Turkey (22,700), Russia (19,100), Iran (13,300), Georgia (5,800), and India (3,300).
