EBRD lowers forecast on Azerbaijan's GDP

May 10, Fineko/abc.az. The European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD) has lowered its forecast for Azerbaijan's GDP growth in 2022.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to EBRD’s May issue of the report on regional economic prospects.

According to the document, the economy is expected to grow by 4.5% in Azerbaijan in 2022, which is 0.5 percentage points less than predicted in March.

The EBRD forecasts Azerbaijan's GDP growth by 2.5% in 2023, which is equal to the previous forecast.
