ABC.AZ reports with reference to RIA Novosti that the above-said statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

He noted that, despite this, it is the West that constantly insists that Russia must be defeated in this situation.

"Draw your own conclusions," Lavrov said after a meeting with his Omani counterpart.
