AvtoVAZ car sales sharply drop in Russia

May 11, Fineko/abc.az. The number of cars sold in Russia last month has been published.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Russian media that 32,700 new cars were sold last month.

Top 3 of the best-selling models included only Lada models.

Sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia in April 2022 fell by 78.5% (against April 2021) to 32,706 cars. The relevant data is contained in the report of the Association of European Businesses (AEB).

All companies’ sales included in the list of the 25 most popular brands have sharply decreased.

Domestic AvtoVAZ remains the leader. It sold 8,506 new cars (78% less than a year earlier).
