May 11, Fineko/abc.az. Employees of the Department of Landscape Studies & Planning of the Academician G.A.Aliyev Institute of Geography (Academy of Sciences) conducted research work in Lerik district.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Institute that experts studied the landscape ecological conditions in the villages of Haftoni, Larmarud, Nuju, Davidoni, Vamazgin and the region called Dirig, where small settlements are located. A landslide occurred in these territories.

The Larmarud landslide zone is located northeast of the district center of Lerik, 7.5 km south of the 21st km of the Masalli-Yardimli highway, on a rather inconvenient and difficult-to-reach road for cars.
