UniCredit intends to sell its division in Russia

May 12, Fineko/abc.az. Italian financial group UniCredit S.p.A. is negotiating the sale of its subsidiary bank operating in Russia.

ABC.AZ reports that financial organizations, as well as companies interested in obtaining a banking license in the Russian Federation, have shown interest in UniCredit.

UniCredit S.p.A. is also considering other possibilities besides the sale of the Russian bank.

In the 1st quarter of 2022, UniCredit S.p.A. saved more than 1.2 bn euro in Russia in case of default.
