Number of commissioned houses decreased for Jan-Apr

May 12, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2022, the number of commissioned residential buildings and the total living area decreased in Azerbaijan against Jan-Apr 2021.

ABC.AZ informs that according to calculations based on State Statistics Committee’s report, in the 1st quarter of this year 2,819 residential buildings with total area of 369,026 sq m were commissioned in the country.

This is 23.4% and 29.9% less than in the previous year, respectively.

Of the total area of houses commissioned during the reporting period, 118,564 sq m, or 32.1%, were in rural areas (decline of 15.2% year-on-year).
