May 13, Fineko/abc.az. Next week, on March 16, the ethylene-polyethylene plant of AzeriKimya Production Union of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), which was stopped for scheduled repairs, will resume its work, ABC.AZ reports, quoting plant’s director Oktay Niftaliyev.

He said that the plant was suspended for repairs on 4 April 2022, along with the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery (an enterprise supplying raw materials).

Niftaliyev emphasized that, although if the refinery does not resume its activities, the plant has sufficient reserves of raw materials to resume its work on the first day of next week.

The SOCAR-owned plant suspended operation for a long time due to repairs.
