Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is at $109.21 a barrel

May 16, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Monday’s trading.

By 09:04 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the July’s Brent crude futures fell by $2.34 (2.10%) to $109.21 per barrel. Following the trading on 13 May, the price of July’s Brent crude futures grew by $4.10 (3.82%) up to $111.55 per barrel.

By 09:04 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the June’s WTI oil futures dropped in price by $2.20 (1.99%) to $108.29 per barrel. Following the trading on 13 May, the price of WTI oil futures for June increased by $4.36 (4.11%) up to $110.49 per barrel.

Over the past week crude oil Brent has risen by 0.8% and WTI by 0.7%.
