Limit of domestic and external borrowing in Azerbaijan for 2018 is fixed at AZN 1.7 bn

The limit of external and internal borrowing of Azerbaijan for 2018 has been established.

In accord with country’s Draft State Budget 2018, the limit of domestic borrowing for next year is set at the level of AZN 700 million and foreign borrowing at AZN 1 bn.

The maximum level of State Budget deficit for next year is established at the level of AZN 778.7 million to be covered by revenues from privatization and other sources. Maximum expenditures of country’s budget 2018 will total AZN 26.674 bn. The consolidated budget deficit, excluding SOFAZ revenues, is fixed at the level of AZN 14.127 bn.
