May 18, Fineko/abc.az. One of the logistics companies has applied to the Agency for the Development of Economic Zones under the Ministry of Economy to obtain the status of a resident of the Araz Valley Economic Zone, ABC.AZ reports, citing agency’s head Elshad Nuriyev.

He added that the company bought about 50 trucks and is creating infrastructure in order to start operations after the opening of the Zangezur corridor.

"Besides, the local offices of FedEx, UPS, ASE Express and American Express established company Qarabağ Logistik. The main goal is the creation of customs warehouses in the economic zone of the Aran Valley, the formation of hubs at the Zangilan and Fizuli international airports, the implementation of international cargo transportation," Nuriyev said.
