Russia declares 5 Portuguese diplomats persona non grata

May 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry expels 5 Portuguese diplomats from the country in response to the expulsion of Russian diplomats from Portugal.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that information about this was distributed by the Russian Ministry.

"As a retaliatory measure, Russia has declared 5 employees of the Portuguese Embassy persona non grata. They must leave the territory of the country within 14 days," the Ministry says.

Earlier, the Russian side declared 10 employees of the foreign representation of Russia in this country persona non grata.
