Turkish company to pave a road from Agdam to Shusha

May 23, Fineko/abc.az. Construction of a new highway from Agdam to Shusha through Askeran is planned.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Azerbaijani-Turkish Union’s chairman of board, entrepreneur Jemal Yangin.

He added that the construction of the new road will be carried out by Kolin Inşaat (Turkey).

"The project is still in the form of a plan, and its implementation has not yet begun," Yangin says.

Kolin Inşaat participates in a range of infrastructure projects in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. The company participates in the construction of Fizuli-Shusha highway, which is of strategic importance for Azerbaijan, Goygol-Kalbajar highway, Ahmedbeyli-Goradiz-Minjivan-Agbend and Goradiz-Minjivan-Agbend motor roads and railways, and the construction of new airports in Karabakh.
