May 26, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani banks’ credit investments by region amounted to AZN 17.9 bn as of 1 May 2021.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that Baku city, Absheron-Khizi and Ganja-Dashkesan economic districts are holding the first positions in the banking sector on loans given by regions.

In the capital, this figure is 13.89 bn, in the Absheron-Khizi region – AZN 678 million, in the Ganja-Dashkesan region – AZN 533 million. The second place belongs to Lankaran-Astara Economic Region (AZN 385 million), Central Aran (AZN 345 million), Guba-Khachmaz region (AZN 300 million), Gazakh-Tovuz Economic Region (AZN 296 million), Sheki-Zagatala Economic Region (AZN 295 million), Karabakh Economic Region (AZN 279 million).
