May 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan’s water operator Azersu continues taking measures aimed at improving water supply and sewerage services in the districts of the country.

Azersu reports that within the state investment program it launched a project to improve water supply of Yeni Yashma settlement of Khizi district.

"Within the project we started construction of a 5.3 km long main water pipeline to Yeni Yashma from the Shollar-Baku water pipeline. In parallel, we are creating a 9.7 km long water network and conducting work on installation of 350 water meters. 7 km of the water line has been built, and two hydrophones installed given the topography of the settlement," Azersu said.

Upon completion of the project, water supply and sewerage services will be improved for 2,600 water consumers.
