June 3, Fineko/abc.az. Trips to the districts begin with the beginning of the summer season. As Shemakha, Ismailli, Gabala and Oguz districts are closer to the capital, citizens prefer to go to these places with excursions. Mostly preference is given to short-term, weekend tours. This year, these districts will also be of interest to tourists.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijan Tourism Association’s head Ahmed Gurbanov told about it.

He noted that currently, due to the repair of Baku-Guba highway, there is a decrease in the number of people going on vacation to the Guba-Gusar-Khachmaz region.

"People who want to participate in long tours often visit remote areas - Gakh, Zagatala, Balaken. The air, the nature of those places attract people," Gurbanov said.
