Deputy minister: We are lucky that oil price is quite high

June 6, Fineko/abc.az. Inflation in Azerbaijan exceeds the established level, and the main part of it is imported.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Finance Minister Azer Bayramov made the above-said statement during the discussion of the Bill on Execution of State Budget 2021.

"As a result of the reforms by the Economy Ministry and the State Tax Service in recent years, today we can ensure the growth of our income in real and nominal terms is adequate to GDP," Bayramov said.

According to the deputy minister, the prices indicated in the forecasts on the oil sector are known, and "we are lucky that the price is high enough".
