Turkey produced 36 unmanned aerial vehicles of ANKA brand

June 8, Fineko/abc.az. The recent achievements made by Turkey in the aviation and space industry have proved themselves more dynamically in the National Defense Industry.

ABC.AZ reports that deputy general director at Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii (TUSAŞ) in the field of UAVs Omer Yildiz told news agency Anadolu that until today 36 Anka drones have come off the assembly lines of the enterprise, the total flight time of which exceeded 120,000 hours.

He added that Turkish-made UAVs are in high demand abroad.

The most active buyers of these devices are Kazakhstan and Malaysia. ANKA and AKSUNGER aircraft are capable of detecting mines at sea using SAR radar. Both devices are capable of carrying warheads weighing up to 100 kg.
