God Nisanov leaves Board of Directors of Olympic Sports Complex


June 8, Fineko/abc.az. Co-owner of Group of Companies Kievskaya Ploshchad, Russian businessman of Azerbaijani origin, God Nisanov, has left the Board of Directors of the Olympic Sports Complex, ABC.AZ reports with reference to Nisanov's press service.

"Today, God Nisanov decided to resign the powers of the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Olympic Sports Complex and withdraw from all management bodies of this project," the statement says.

In December 2017, Kievskaya Ploshchad acquired the complex from the Alliance Group of Companies, intending to invest up to $400 million in the development of the Olympic. The sports complex was closed for reconstruction in 2019, it was planned to finish the work by the end of 2024.

God Nisanov is the co-founder of Kievskaya Ploshchad, the largest participant in the commercial real estate market in Russia. The company includes such large commercial real estate objects as shopping center Evropeysky, IFC Shchelkovsky, TPU Nagatinskaya, furniture shopping complex Grand, the Radisson Collection Hotel, Moscow (hotel Ukraine), gastronomic quarter DEPOT, agro cluster FOOD CITY and others. The total area of commercial real estate of the group of companies is more than 3.9 million sq m.
