June 9, Fineko/abc.az. In order to ensure the country's food safety, the Azerbaijani government has restricted the export of food products from the country, included in the minimum consumer basket and raw materials used in their production. But a number of dealers are taking various ways to avoid restrictions. One of them is the mass export of crushed grain plants under the guise of processed products.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Poultry Association that grain prices on the world market have increased sharply in recent months because of the cessation of exports of wheat, corn and sunflower oil from Ukraine, the introduction of export quotas and additional duties by Russia, the transition to quotas of another exporter - Kazakhstan, as well as for other reasons.

In addition, the exchange rate of the Russian ruble has strengthened even more.

Against the background of this growth, poultry enterprises are seeking to expand the use of locally produced barley to meet feed needs.

But in recent weeks it has been almost impossible to find barley in the country.

In the course of our research, it turned out that in order to avoid the ban on the export of barley in the form of grain from Azerbaijan, a number of businessmen, grinding it, massively export it to neighboring countries, in particular to Iran and through it to Iraq.
