Huawei closes its stores in Russia

June 9, Fineko/abc.az. Huawei (China) has started closing its official stores in Russia.

ABC.AZ reports that four out of the 19 outlets have already closed. Other stores are expected to close down in the near future.

According to Forbes, Huawei has sent employees of the office in Russia on vacation for a month due to fear of secondary sanctions. The company also stopped signing new contracts for the supply of equipment to mobile operators. Sanctions prohibit trade with Russia even to third countries that produce goods using American technologies and equipment.
