Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $118.78 a barrel

June 16, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Thursday’s trading after falling the day before.

At the London ICE Futures Exchange the August’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.27 (0.23%) up to $118.78 per barrel by 09:13 am. Following the trading on 15 June, the price of August’s Brent crude futures fell by $2.66 (2.20%) to $118.51 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the July’s WTI oil futures increased in price by $0.51 (0.44%) to $115.82 per barrel by 09:13 am. Following the trading on 15 June, the price of WTI oil futures for July slumped by $3.62 (3.04%) to $115.31 per barrel.
