June 21, Fineko/abc.az. The rapid rise in fuel prices in Turkey has led to a sharp increase in the cost of goods transportation from the fraternal country, ABC.AZ was informed at one of the local transport companies.

"If earlier a liter of diesel fuel in Turkey ranged from 6.8–7 liras, now this figure has grown to 30 liras. If the price of fuel is rising, definitely, spare parts of cars are also growing, starting from wheels and ending with service. Due to rising fuel prices and other transportation costs have increased almost by 50%. If earlier cargo transportation from Istanbul to Baku cost $2,300, today this price is already $3,600," the company said.
