Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan cargo traffic grows

June 29, Fineko/abc.az. "Cargo traffic between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan through the Caspian Sea is growing."

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev stated about this during his Ashgabat meeting with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the chairman of the People's Council Chamber of the National Assembly of Turkmenistan.

The head of state said that this meets the interests of both our countries and neighboring countries: "Today, the transport route passing through the Caspian Sea is of particular importance. Modern seaports have been built in both Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, and large investments have been made in the railway infrastructure."
