Azerbaijan's nonoil exports grew by 31% for past 5 months

July 1, Fineko/abc.az. The June’s issue of the Export Review has been presented.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the June issue, for Jan-May 2022, Azerbaijan's total exports reached $15.4 bn and exports of the nonoil sector amounted to $1.2 bn.

Compared with 2021, exports of the nonoil sector increased by $280.6 million, or 30.9%.

Over Jan-May 2022, exports of fruit and vegetable products grew by 6.4% up to $219.2 million against the 2021 same term.

In 5 months of 2022, exports of chemical industry output grew 8-fold, aluminum and products made from it by 2 times, ferrous metals and products made from them by 49.8%, cotton yarn by 23.7%, cotton fiber by 14.5%.
