Azerbaijan carried out largest nonoil export to Russia for May

ABC.AZ reports that according to the review, exports for May 2022 totaled $3.6 bn.

The increase in nonoil exports made up 5.7% or $222.4 million.

In May 2022, exports of food products reached $66.4 million and non-food products grew by 24.7% up to $156 million.

In May 2022, Russia ($71.7 million) took 1st place in the list of importing countries of Azerbaijan’s nonoil sector output. Turkey holds the 2nd position ($56.5 million) and India – 3rd place ($17 million).

Top 3 of the most exported goods for May 2022 included tomatoes, cotton wool and urea with indicators of $32.8, $21.2 and $15.9 million, respectively.
