July 4, Fineko/abc.az. Some monetary payments to the Milli Majlis MPs have been canceled in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that starting from 1 July 2022, the monthly cash security exempt from taxes for the payment of expenses related to the performance of parliamentary powers has been canceled for MPs.

The tax-exempt monthly monetary provision in the amount of 50% of the official salaries of Milli Majlis chairman, his first deputy and deputies, chairmen of the commissions of the Milli Majlis and their deputies, provided to cover expenses related to the performance of parliamentary powers, has also been canceled.

In addition, the allowance in the amount of a two-month official salary provided to the MP for treatment and rest during vacation was canceled.

According to the amendment, the Milli Majlis chairman will receive a monthly official salary of 3,550 manats.
