July 5, Fineko/abc.az. Equinor (formerly Statoil) suffers losses of more than half a billion Norwegian kroners per day as a result of strikes by novice workers, ABC.AZ was informed at the Association of Employers of the Norwegian Oil & Gas Industry.

“Due to the one-time closure of seven fields, Equinor's daily losses will amount to NOK 521 million ($52.1 million),” the Association said.

According to experts, such a situation against the background of export restrictions from Russia and the shortage of natural gas on the European market has already led to an increase in raw material prices. The price of gas in Europe on Monday on the stock exchange exceeded $1,800 per 1,000 cu m.
