Azerbaijan’s nonoil export grew by 25.4%

July 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's export was carried out for $18.5 bn, and on the nonoil sector for $1.5 bn, ABC.AZ reports with reference to July’s issue of the Export Review. Thus, nonoil exports grew by 25.4% against 2021.

Fruit and vegetable production for Jan-Jun 2022 increased by 7.1% (versus Jan-Jun 2021) up to $328.1 million, exports of chemical industry output grew 5-fold, aluminum and products made from it – 2-fold, ferrous metals and products made from them by 26.1%, cotton fiber by 12.8%, cotton yarn by 5.2%. As of June 2022, exports amounted to $3.1 bn.

Export growth in the nonoil sector made up 5.8% - $269.6 million. In June 2022, food exports increased by 6.6% up to $119.6 million, and nonfood products by 5.1% to $149.9 million.
