Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Cabinet of Ministers has issued the decree #439 on fulfilling the presidential order #37 of December 10 on confirming the State Budget 2008.

The Cabinet informs that the decree #439 commissions the Ministry of Finance in coordination with other state agencies to prepare the proposals on directing the funds within State Programme on Sustainable Providing with Food foreseen in the state budget 2009 by January 2009.

For this programme 2008-2015 the state budget 2009 allocates AZN 60 million.

The Ministry of Finance jointly with the Ministry of Economic Development was commissioned to present proposals on financing amount for certain objects within the state capital investments (AZN 4.7 bn.) in early January.

In order to fulfill the state budget 2009 it was commissioned to present proposals on calculations of incomes and expenditures for 2009 for a row of the large state enterprises: SOCAR, Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, Azersu, Azerenerji, Azeriqaz, Azerbaijan State Railway, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), Bakielektriksebeke, Sumqaiytelektriksebeke, Baku Metro, Azerikimya and Azerbaijan State Caspian Sea Steamship Line.

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev confirmed the state budget 2009 with incomes of AZN 12.177 billion (27.9% of GDP) and expenditures of AZN 12.355 billion (28.3% of GDP) and deficit of AZN 178 million (0.4% of GDP).
