Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Commission on Issues of Civil Service under Azerbaijan President took part  in an international workshop, held   in Serbia on the subject of “Avowal of property by officials as a method of struggle  against corruption”.

The commission informed that leader of legal sector of the commission Vugar Askarov represented Azerbaijan in the event.

“In his speech V.Askarov gave information on the law of Azerbaijan On Struggle Against Corruption and rules of supplying information of financial character by officials,” it was informed.

The workshop aimed at developing and systematizing of knowledge on avowal of property as the method of struggle against corruption, discussion of tendency and policy, existing in this sphere.

The event was attended by the representatives of Byelorussia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Afghanistan, Spain, Romania, Portugal, Macedonia and other countries as well as European Union, the World Bank and other international organizations.
