Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Opening of the XIV Republican Subject Olympiad took place among students in the Baku Slavonian University.

Azerbaijani  Minister of Education Misir Mardanov said in  his opening remarks that the  Olympiad will promote interest of students in  various  subjects and will help to find out talented students.

“544 students from 28 universities of  the republic received the right to take part in the XIV Republican Olympiad. Along with students from Baku, students from  Sumgait, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Lankaran and Mingachavir participate in the  Olympiad,” minister said.

M.Mardanov also told about successes, achieved within the framework of the State  Program on Higher Education Reforms for 2009-2013.
