Baku, Fineko/abc.az. A meeting with the European Economic & Social Committee’s delegation has been held today in the Azerbaijan State Social Protection Fund (DSMF).

According to the Fund, during the meeting DSMF chair Salim Muslimov said that in Azerbaijan foreign citizens are also covered by compulsory social insurance payments. Up to date the individual registration system has registered 7,945 foreigners.

“As of 1st November 2009 quantity of insured persons having individual account grew by 126,528 people since the last year’s same period and reached 1,617,975 people. Then the Fund’s chairs gave answers guests’ other questions.
