Baku, Fineko/abc.az. BP Azerbaijan, the operator of main oil and gas projects in Azerbaijan, fulfilled all its commitments on its personnel formation from local specialists.

BP Azerbaijan reported that currently the Company’s personnel composed 1,978 citizens of Azerbaijan.

“84% of our permanent professionals in Azerbaijan are citizens of the country and many of them are holding policy-making posts,” it was informed.

On 1st September 2009, Azerbaijani citizen Rashid Javanshir became the president of BP Azerbaijan.

Company’s local staff grew by 24 employees in the 3rd quarter of 2009.
