Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The main stage of National Computer Project in Azerbaijan can begin already next month.
“The next stage of this Project can start next January or February. Thanks to that, not only university and school teachers but also students will be able to buy computers,” Microsoft’s representative Emin Akhundov said.
The Project was launched this April. Its pilot stage lasted for six months.
National Computer Project aims at creating conditions to purchase modern computers and license software of different social layers of population, reduction of «digital inequality» by means of expansion of introduction of ICT in regions, as well as support of activity of the Azerbaijani government, oriented to development of information society and electronic government.
