Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Internet Forum has summed up results of a contest among the websites.

AIF head Osman Gunduz says that it was very difficult to select deserved sites for the contest.

“Applications for the contest were submitted mainly by the websites not having Azeri language using versions or plagiary sites. That is why about half of sites were not allowed to the competition,” he said.

Only websites having versions in Azeri language were permitted to the contest.

Milli Net – Contest for National Internet Prize started on 1st October 2009.

The 15-member special commission summed up its results. The contest goal is to develop Internet in Azerbaijan and expand Azeri language use in Internet. 367 websites on 11 nominations participated in the contest.
