Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The State Media Support Fund under the Presidential Administration has announced a contest for awarding individual journalists in connection with Novruz Holiday.

The Fund informs that the contest was declared on the following directions:

development of liberty of speech and information, protection of rights and freedoms; truth about Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Garabagh conflict and Armenian genocide against Azerbaijan; protection of ecology and environment; propaganda of Azerbaijani nationhood, national traditions, science, and culture; policy in the area of ICT development and its practical results; Azerbaijan’s regions yesterday and today; integration of Azerbaijan’s education system into the world system, achievements, problems and prospects.

The contest is allowed persons who worked constantly in the media at least one year.

The winner will be awarded with diplomas and money prize of 1,000 manats.

The results will be published on 20 March.

Materials and documents should be presented personally at 10 am – 4 pm until 1 March to the Fund’s office.
