Baku, Fineko/abc.az. A sitting of the Azerbaijani Parliamentary  Committee on  Agrarian Policy was held.

The committee’s chairman Eldar Ibrahimov said that in the summer sitting of the parliament the committee plans to provide the third reading of the Draft Law on Purchase of Land for State Needs”, the second reading of the Draft Law on Cotton Breeding and start discussion of the Draft Law on Agricultural Cooperation.

On January 26, the committee considered and recommended for  ratification the agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan on cooperation in the veterinary science sphere.

E. Ibrahimov spoke repeatedly with statements on necessity of development of agricultural cooperation in the country and restoration of Azerittifaq system of cooperatives.
