Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Special training courses on the theme “Teaching of pedagogical practice and language & introduction of classroom control system” have been conducted in the Information & resource Centre of thre Education System Computerization   Department under the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan.

The Department reports that courses organized for English language teachers of the Elite Gymnasium and the European Lyceum were delivered by expert invited by SANAKO corporation form Finland.

“The purpose of courses is to run language laboratories of schools covered by project “One schoolchild – one computer” by applying information technologies, effective use of notebooks by pupils in language labs and improve quality of English language teaching. In the course of trainings courses teachers were given theoretical and practical knowledge on use of different equipment and programs,” thre Department said.

The main goal of project “One schoolchild – one computer” being realized within the framework of State Program of Education System Computerization in Azerbaijan in 2008-12 is to enable for schoolchildren efficient use of informaiton technologies in education at school and at home.

Precisely with this purpose within the project the pilot schools’ pupils were given out notebooks for use at schol and at home. Provision of notebooks for little pupils wil enable them to receive more effective education due to information and communication technologies.
