Activity in Azerbaijan’s special economic areas requires state registration
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Prospects of creation of special economic areas in Azerbaijan will not tell on country’s system of state registration of business on one stop shop principle.
Susal Shikhaliyev, the head of the Business Support Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, said that before to start running business in special economic area the entrepreneur is required to pass state registration of his business in the country.
“Only then the operator to be chosen by the SEA Administration appointed by the MED will conduct procedure of businessman’s registration as SEA resident,” he said.
Currently the process of business registration in Azerbaijan takes up to 8 days.
