Last year 500 schools in Azerbaijan were connected to Internet
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan keeps on connecting comprehensive schools to Internet.
Education minister Misir Mardanov says that according to MoE Department of Information & Communications Technologies, for the past year 500 schools were connected to Internet.
“In 2010 we intend to connect more schools to Internet. First of all, among them will be schools of Baku, Sumgait and Ganja,” he said.
Currently Azerbaijan is numbering over 4,000 schools.
