Universities of Azerbaijan and Belarus sign contract on IT cooperation
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. On February 8, within the framework of the first Azerbaijan-Belarus business forum in the field of information and communication technologies, which is held in Baku, Azerbaijan Technical University (ATU) and Belorussian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) signed the agreement on cooperation. Rector of BSUIR Michael Batura said that it is time to restore connections of Azerbaijan and Belarus in the sphere of information technologies. “Yesterday we visited ATU, where achieved very good agreements,” M. Batura said. Rector of ATU Khavar Mammadov said that in the yesterday’s meeting the parties shared the experience of work. “We agreed on exchange of students, joint preparation of doctors of sciences, carrying out of conferences, implementation of joint projects and research,” K. Mammadov said. Signing of the agreement took place within the framework of the business forum. The first Azerbaijan-Belarus business forum in the field of information technologies was organized by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies and the Belorussian embassy in Azerbaijan with participation of Hi-Tech park (HTP).
