Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Education minister Misir Mardanov of Azerbaijan and Baku-based OSCE office’s head Ali Bilge Cankorel discussed education of journalism and protection of children’s rights in Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Education reports that the OSCE representative made proposals for organization of more fruitful co-operation.
“The guest touched issues of raising the level of journalism speciality teaching in Azerbaijan and creation of a working group in universities teaching journalism.
Besides, Mr. Cankorel backed the establishment of the Department of Deinstitutionalization & Protection of Children under the Ministry of Education and voiced readiness to give necessary support to joint work in this field,” it was informed.
In his turn, the minister supported the suggestion about joint work on creation of curriculum on journalism speciality.
