Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Ganja automobile factory intends to expand manufacture in Azerbaijan.

According to Belorussian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolay Patskevich,  in the nearest future Ganja  car factory is going to produce  own  2- thousandth tractor.

“In addition, the plant   is prepared for  raising  own capacity and launch production to 800 tractors per annum. This year manufacture of tractors is planned at the same level,” N. Patskevich said.

At the same time, the agreement between Ganja  car factory and Minsk automobile plant is worked out for manufacture of lorries trade mark "MAZ" in the territory of Azerbaijan.

«The memorandum on intentions is planned to be signed in the course of the meeting  of the Azerbaijan-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission, which will take place in Baku tomorrow,” N. Patskevich said.

According to him,  assembling of autocranes has been already begun in the plant.

“The first 12 autocranes have been already assembled  in Ganja car plant and  orders for manufacture of another 20 autocranes have been  received at present,” ambassador said.

N. Patskevich also noted that the plant  is engaged in not only assemblage and production of heavy equipment, as well as  renders  services that is important factor.

Let’s remind that the contract on assembling and sale of all kinds of lorries and tractors of production of  Ganja automobile and Minsk tractor plants in Azerbaijan wassigned in Minsk in late  November, 2006.
