Baku, Fineko/abc.az. OJSC Deveci Broyler has begun production of a new kind of chicken products for the Azerbaijani market under its own brand Seba – chicken products of advanced processing.

The Company has reported of launch of a promotion action since 17 December in 120 multiple supermarkets of Class A on sales of the first new type of chicken products - chicken cutlets of three types.

"Another 400 supermarkets of category B will accede this week to the campaign to last until 2011 when direct sales of this output begin,” Deveci informed.

When the buyer buys purchases two Seba chicken products he is given Seba cutlets free of charge.

"Manufacture of chicken products of high-quality processing related to our Strategy Development Plan for 2008-10. Since early 2009 we embarked this project and today are ready to produce up to 26 tons of chicken products a day," the Company said.

This became possible due to creation of new production facilities that demanded employment of up to 80 new employees.

"Today we are able to produce chopped semi-finished products (cutlets, chicken stuffed products, etc.), semi-products in bakery dough, pickled products. They will be brought to market gradually during 2011,” Deveci said.

The project was realized with assistance of Azerbaijan Investment Company, which has 25% equity stake in Deveci Broyler.
