Azeronline is in Top 3 of Internet services market leaders in Azerbaijan

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azeronline has got in ranks of Top 3 leaders of Internet services market by ousting Stelford (Connect) from the third place.

According to interactive chart of country’s Internet providers in the website of Azerbaijani primary Internet provider Delta Telecom, the country’s leading secondary providers Bakinternet and Uninet still retain their leading positions in the market of Internet services.

The share of Bakinternet in the market of broadband Internet traffic is 23.12%, Uninet 14.78% , and Azeronline 10.07%.

They are followed by Stelford (Connect) 9.45%, Superonline 7.28%, Dataplus 7.18%, Ultel 5.76%, Adanet 3.47%, Aztelekom 2.49%, Computer Information Centre of the Ministry of Communications & Information Technologies (Azdatacom) 3.05%, and Astarnet 2.34%.

The share of mobile operator Bakcell makes 0.51%, while the share of Azerfon 0.32% of traffic sent through the platform of Delta Telecom. Similar data regarding Azercell Telecom is not reflected in the chart, as the operator is not directly connected to the Delta Telecom platform and uses the services of its subsidiary company Azeronline.

The most passive participants in the Internet services market are Azerin 0.07%, Globalnet 0.13%, Azintex 0.15%, Castel 0.37%, Aznet 0.77%, Intrans 0.49%, Nakchivan 0.78%, Datacell 0.93%, Avirtel 1.36%, Caspel 0.75%, Smart 1.87%, Azeurotel 1.57%, Traseurocom 0.92%.
